Jabal overmandes i Formentera (a Dandy Doze) af pludselig vantro og utryghed som han umiddelbart forgæves søger at få bugt med i en indre dialog med sit alterego. Hans ønske om at opnå kontrol og ro får ham til at forsøge forskellige praksisser og regimer, som hører til blandt de domæner, hvor Jubal hører til. Men Jabals alterego har en anden plan.
